December is the busiest — and
most boisterous — month of the year for many. Wherever we go, an ongoing
soundtrack of canned holiday music competes for our attention, while distracting
us from the central message of the season.
The
Finger Lakes Women’s Chorale invites you to step back and reflect on the
sacredness of the holiday by joining them at their winter concert, "With
Joy We Wait." Experience a range of sounds and styles that include songs,
motets, and antiphons spanning the Middle Ages through the Renaissance by
signature composers such as Palestrina, Praetorius, and Hildegard von Bingen.
